Create your Faction organization
Sign up free and create an organization. This is where admins connect tools once, so teammates never wire up their own integrations.
List bases, search records, and read table schema from Airtable in chat without exporting spreadsheets for every question.
Airtable
Airtable holds campaign trackers, content calendars, vendor lists, and ops databases. Connect it once in Faction and chat can list bases, search records, and answer questions against the tables your admins approved.
Set up Airtable a single time instead of asking everyone to paste their own keys into Cursor.
Give ops and other teams the Airtable tools they need without one shared bundle for the whole company.
Each workspace URL exposes only the Airtable actions admins turn on, not every connector in your org.
Use the same workspace URL in Cursor, Cursor, ChatGPT, or any MCP client your team prefers.
Step by step
Six steps from a fresh organization to chatting with Airtable inside Cursor.
01
Sign up free and create an organization. This is where admins connect tools once, so teammates never wire up their own integrations.
02
Open the integration catalog in Faction and connect Airtable with OAuth. Pick a shared org connection or let each teammate sign in with their own account.
03
Create a workspace for the team that needs it, such as ops, and add Airtable. Admins choose exactly which tools are on for that workspace.
04
Every workspace exposes one MCP URL with only the tools you enabled. Copy it from the workspace settings in Faction.
05
In Cursor, go to Settings, then MCP and add your Faction workspace URL.
06
Ask Cursor to use Airtable in plain language. Faction handles auth and scopes behind one URL.
Your workspace URL
Faction gives your team a shared AI workspace that plugs into the tools you already use. Each workspace gets one link (an MCP URL) that includes only the tools your admins turn on. Paste it into Cursor once and everyone is connected. No keys to copy, nothing to set up per person.
https://yourcompany.runfaction.com/mcp/your-workspaceWhat the MCP server can do
Browse the bases and tables available in the connected Airtable workspace.
Find rows by field values, status, owner, or date across the tables you enable.
Inspect fields, types, and linked tables so chat understands how your base is organized.
Add rows or update fields when write tools are enabled for the workspace.
Use cases
Check which campaigns are in flight, what is due this week, and who owns each row.
Answer spend, contract, and vendor status questions from the base ops already maintains.
Summarize pipeline or launch status for leadership without rebuilding pivot tables.
